Hola MyMajorians!
Haha, tomorrow I’ll be taking the ACT and then go to a Day of the Dead event 🙂 But in the meantime… my quiz results!
As you may have noticed, MyMajors is well known for their quiz to…help…you…find…your…MAJOR! & upon taking it a second time I realized that…I got pretty much the exact same ones as last time.
THE RESULTS ARE AS FOLLOWS:
1.) English (no surprise there)
2.) Creative Writing
3.) Journalism
4.) Criminal Justice
5.) Pre-Law
Honestly, I’ve considered ALL of these options. In fact, these are the majors I’ve oscillated back and forth from. They all make sense to me. Lately I’ve been really into Journalism, though. That’s why I added some lovely schools out of California that are GREAT for communications/journalism. Who knows…maybe I’ll get into broadcast media. That’d be SCHWEET!
I highly recommend for you guys to take the quiz [again] to narrow down your choices; maybe even confirm that you’re inclined for a certain major.
In the end, though, this is just a tool to guide you. Choose whatever you want! And if you’re planning to go to law school like me, your major for undergraduate doesn’t even matter! So have fun with it; do what you want to do!
As words of inspiration to anyone feeling overwhelmed (lol again), I’m fairing quite well right now. I was completely stressed out this week but I managed to ace my AP Gov exam with flying colors and raise all my grades significantly (so I don’t have to study that much for finals…<3). And believe me, I was not in a comfortable position earlier. Procrastination is a pain, but we have to overcome it.
ANYWAY!
Now that November is rolling in, and Halloween is almost here–that means the next holiday will be Thanksgiving! I don’t know about you guys, but I want to gobble gobble gobble all of the food on Thanksgiving. I don’t even have a favorite because everything my mom makes is so delicious holy smokes it’s just lkajfdlkajfklaj <3 Maybe take this time to be thankful that you’re on your way to success, and let your family know how much they mean to you! Say thanks to your teachers, friends, family, everyone! This is your last year of childhood (oh my gosh) so give thanks while you can!
Happy Halloween you guys. You may not be hearing from me in a while (UC, CSU, and UW apps are starting) but I’ll try to keep in touch as much as I can!
