John is the ultimate ‘giving’ teacher. He has a passion for creating art and that passion comes out everyday in his classroom. His students can not help but get caught up in his enthusiasm and in turn create exciting and interesting works. John is not only appreciated by his students but by his fellow teachers as well. I have become a better teacher every year because of John Goodman, he demonstrates how to be a caring, enthusiastic and encouraging teacher everyday and I learn from that continually.

We all have a favorite art teacher. Someone who inspired us to become MORE, that pushed us to greater creative heights and made us BETTER than we ever thought possible!
